Anger Management Books & Resources

Welcome to the part of the site focusing on Anger Management Books and Resources. Here you will find recommended books, research and statistics to help you find our more about anger management.

The first of the Anger Management Books I will talk about is:
Anger Management for Dummies:

Of all Anger Management Books, I really see this book as an “introduction” to anger management. It helped me to put a few things in place and organize my thinking and, to some extent action, on anger management. I’m not 100% convinced about the writing style of this book but at least it didn’t make me angry. Click here for more details

The second book:
A Volcano in My Tummy: Helping Children to Handle Anger:

This book gets great reviews on Amazon such as “This is a great book, nice print and easy to read. I was desperate to help my son who gets angry and frustrated quite lot. He is autistic and has speech and language problems and it was distressing to see him so angry. This book has helped a lot.”. This is a good book if you need help with anger management for children. Next we have:
Anger Management: The Complete Treatment Guidebook for Practitioners

I think this book is great for both training counselors (who the book is aimed at) and also for anyone who wants to learn more about anger. Especially if you have an analytical or curious mind and would like to learn more about the subject in a rounded way than perhaps you would learn from other books. However as a result you will need more patience with this book as it goes into more detail and takes longer to get to the “juice”. Click here for more details.
